Patients who have suffered from a stroke often present with various balance deficits. Pushing behavior or "pusher syndrome" as it is commonly known, can be one of the more confounding and frustrating to deal with and treat in the clinic.  Fortunately, research over the past decade has helped elucidate this condition and provides us with insights into how best to treat our patients who push.
